The official Site of Pefkohori's Community
Pefkohori is at the edge of Kassandra's peninsula (105 km from
Thessaloniki)
at the same position of the ancient town of "Aegae" or "Pimenis" - due
to the herds' breeding in this area.In1805 the village was burnt by pirates
and was then given the name Kapsohora. After Macedonia's liberation it
became a Greek Community and in 1964 was renamed to Community of Pefkohori.
